PROGRAMS
All of the programs used by Chicago Tutoring Center (CTC) are based on super learning techniques -- perfect learning environment without stress and distractions.  We offer light diagnostic testing to help determine the right programs that are needed for the child's success.  All programs consist of an environment that have two students to one teacher.  At CTC your child will be in a perfect learning environment with our music therapy, conducive learning colors, and our use of aromatherapy to reduce stress.

We tutor children from grades 1 through 12.  Our philosophy is not to move the child into the next stage of the program until he or she has mastered the stage that they are in.  We guarantee that your child will receive one or two letter grades higher in 8 to 16 weeks.

Basic Phonics Reading

This program will cover ABC's, Sounds, Vowels, Blends, Spelling, and Reading.  Your child will also read 10 to 20 books.

Advanced Phonics

This program will cover Phonics, Spelling, Sentences, Paragraphs, and Writing Reports.  Vowels and blends will be reviewed.  Your child will also be writing sentences with punctuation.

Basic Math

This program will cover addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, & fractions.  Your child will also learn and study time tables.

Algebra

This program will cover decimals, order of operations, fractions, polynomials, variable equations and combing like terms.  Your child will also learn adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying integers.
